Peridot purifies the subtle bodies and mind. It opens cleanses and activates the heart and solar plexus chakra.
Physically Peridot has assisted one with giving birth. When placed on the abdomen it is said to stimulate contractions and strengthen the muscles, while lessening pain. I would suggest not using this stone if pregnant until you already being the labor process because of this effect, but during the process it would

Only spiritual or clear-minded persons should use Peridot. The person with too many earthly problems will not be able to understand the beauty of the Peridot. The very spiritual can wear Peridot in a necklace with the stone at the base of the throat to feel its soothing effect.
In healing Peridot has a tonic effect, it helps to regenerate tissues and organs like the heart, gallbladder, lungs, thymus and intestinal track. It is also said to strengthen ones eyesight.
